NATCHITOCHES — The Natchitoches Parish School Board is proud to announce the appointment of Ramona Wynder as Director of Human Resources, officially removing the interim designation from her title.
Ms. Wynder has served as Interim Director of Human Resources since July 2025, leading the department with professionalism, integrity, and a deep commitment to the district’s employees and students. Her permanent appointment reflects the confidence and trust she has earned throughout the organization during her time in the interim role.
“I’m pleased to announce that Ramona Wynder has been appointed Director of Human Resources, officially removing the interim designation,” said Dr. Grant Eloi, Superintendent of Natchitoches Parish Schools. “All leadership roles require trust and respect, none more so than Human Resources. I believe there is no one who has earned greater respect or is more trusted across our organization than Ms. Wynder. We look forward to her continued leadership and impact.”
Ms. Wynder brings 30 years of experience in education to the role, with a career defined by her unwavering commitment to student success, talent development, and educational equity. A proud graduate of Northwestern State University, she began her career in 1994 as a teacher at Cloutierville Elementary School. Her teaching experience spans P–12 and post-secondary education in both general and special education settings.
Throughout her career, Ms. Wynder has been recognized for excellence in education, earning Teacher of the Year honors three times in Caddo Parish and Natchitoches Parish. She earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northwestern State University in 2011 and went on to serve as Coordinator of Alternate Certification before becoming Director of Clinical Practice and Partnerships in NSU’s School of Education. In those roles, she played an instrumental part in preparing future educators for Louisiana classrooms.
Prior to being named Interim Director in July 2025, Ms. Wynder served Natchitoches Parish Schools for three and a half years as Grant Administrator and Certification Coach. In that role, she focused on talent acquisition and retention, workforce development, and strengthening collaborative partnerships across the district. She is widely respected for her expertise in teacher certification and licensing and has become a trusted and steady leader within NPSB.
