After preparing portfolios highlighting their academic accomplishments, leadership, and involvement in their schools and communities, student representatives from across Natchitoches Parish participated in the 2026–2027 Student of the Year competition on November 5, 2026.
Each student took part in an interview with a panel of community leaders, who evaluated the finalists and selected this year's district winners. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the members of the selection committee for generously giving their time and serving in this important role. Serving on the committee were Jacob Murchison, Linda Page, Katrice Below, Corey Poole, Sarah Mallette, and Howard Conday.
