Veteran's Day Program
Students will have the opportunity to attend the annual NSU Christmas Gala on Thursday, December 1st at 9:30am. Please see the permission form that will be sent home for more information. Permission slips and cost to attend will be due to the school on or before Tuesday, November 29th.
The News Channel 5 Christmas Cheer Food Drive runs through December 8. Each school has been given the opportunity to participate with the Food Bank of Central Louisiana to collect non-perishable food for those in need in our communities. All donated food will be picked up from Goldonna Elementary & Junior High School on Thursday, December 8.

Veteran's Day
The GES Wildcat Cheerleaders will be having a cheer fundraiser by selling Boo Bags until Monday, October 31, 2022. One Boo Bag will cost $1 and will be delivered to your child on Monday, October 31. The forms for the Boo Bags will be sent home today! Students can purchase and send Boo Bags to each other, a teacher, or parents can send them to their children in class!
We will be having a PINK OUT day this Friday, October 21, 2022 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Your child may wear as much pink as possible on that day! The cost will be a $1 donation but if you would like to contribute more to this worthy cause, please do. All money collected will be given to a local Breast Cancer Center. This is part of the GES Wildcat Cheerleaders community outreach.
Do you love to bake? If you are interested in baking a cake, cupcakes, cookies, or any other baked goods to be included in our Fall Carnival cakewalk, please contact us at 318-727-9449. We are asking that all baked goods be brought to the school on Thursday, October 27 to prepare for the cakewalk game that is always so much fun!
GES is taking donations of 2-liter drinks. For every (5) 2-liter drinks donated, your child will receive a FREE dress down day. The 2-liter drinks are used in one of our class's games, the Coke Toss Game. This game is always a big hit with our students and adults!
