Excellent news for Louisiana education, and especially so for Natchitoches Parish!
According to the latest national Education Recovery Scorecard from researchers at Harvard, Stanford, and Dartmouth, Louisiana ranks #1 in the nation for reading growth and #2 for math growth. These results reflect real progress for students across our state.
In particular, Natchitoches Parish was the only school system specifically recognized in Louisiana for growth in BOTH ELA and Math, and the only district in the state to earn this distinction two years in a row.
This recognition speaks volumes about the dedication of our teachers, staff, students, and families. The work being done here is not only making a difference locally, it is helping lead the nation.
