Weaver Elementary School had the privilege of having author and retired NFL player Malcolm Mitchell read his book to the entire student body. These flyers were entertained with a magic show and each student also received a free copy of his book! Parents, we are aware of the updated guidance from the CDC regarding Covid-19 and are excited about the prospect of loosening quarantine restrictions for our families. However, the Natchitoches Parish School Board must vote to update our quarantine policy for the 2022-203 school year! The Natchitoches Parish School Board will hold a Special Called Meeting on Monday, August 15th at 11am to vote on updating our quarantine policy. It's never too early to start planning for your future!! 🎓🌟 The Fast Forward Program will prepare students for current and emerging professions that expose students to high-skill, high-wage and in-demand occupations. Students in the Fast Forward Program at Natchitoches Parish Schools will have the option to participate in one of two pathways: Associate's Degree Pathway or Technical Diploma Pathway. Students who are in the 10th grade or higher and qualify for dual-enrollment courses are eligible to enroll in the Fast Forward Program at their high school.
