🇺🇸 Today, we remember.

On this Patriot Day, September 11, we honor the lives lost and the heroes who bravely served. May we never forget the importance of unity, courage, and compassion.💙❤️

Some of our schools are allowing students to dress in holiday-appropriate attire to show their patriotism. Please check with your child’s individual school for details about their dress day.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and today (September 10) is National Suicide Prevention Day💙

Talking to your child about mental health is important💬 It can be tough to know what to say when your child seems to be struggling, but your support and even a small conversation can make a big impact.

Here are some ways YOU can help:

🔹Don’t wait for your child to start the conversation—choose a time to talk.

🔹Speak calmly, ask directly how they’re feeling, and watch their reactions.

🔹Listen without judgment or rushing to “fix” things.

🔹Reassure them they are not alone and that help is available.

💡 Remember: Asking for help does not mean weakness—it means courage.

📲 For immediate support, call or text 988 to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (available 24/7).

🔗 Want to learn more about how you can support someone in crisis? Visit 988lifeline.org/help-someone-else for tips on active listening, what to say (and what not to say), and the 5 Action Steps to help.
