
Congratulations to Mrs. Gray for being chosen as the Elementary Lab School Teacher of the Year.


Mrs. Gray’s WIN group have been working with Dash! Students created a Halloween costume for Dash then created a path. Students programmed Dash to move along the path saying “Trick-or-Treat” when he reached a candy treat. The program required students to create multiple lines of code.





2nd graders were engineers today. They designed and built candy 3d towers and catapults. They even tested their catapults.





The 4th graders wrapped up their ELA unit, The Whipping Boy by hosting a grand feast!

Congratulations to Charlotte Eloi, Avery Cole, Owen Pernod, and Lucas Eddington escaping from our 3rd grade ELA multiple meanings escape room! Students had a blast competing to escape!





Kindergarten students have been learning about weather in science and reading. Meteorologist Breyanna Lewis from KALB came and talked to students about weather.


Mrs. Wilson’s kindergarteners enjoyed the weather by reading the book Pumpkin Jack outside and then carved a pumpkin to begin their own Pumpkin Jack science experiment.


We are so proud of our instructional specialist, Mrs. Sheila Warner! She was inducted into the Northwestern State University Hall of Distinguished Educators today!




Kindergarten scientists! Kindergarten students are learning how the sun warms the Earth’s surface. Students compared thermometers in the shade to thermometers in the sun.
