🚀 NJH Zearn Space Race Challenge! 🚀
📅 November 3rd–21st
NJH students are gearing up to blast off in math during our Zearn Space Race Challenge! This fun and motivating event helps students strengthen their math skills through daily digital practice at home using Zearn Math — a program that matches what they’re learning in class.
💡 Why it matters:
Research shows that students who complete 3 or more Zearn lessons each week make twice as much growth in math as those who don’t. Consistent practice helps build confidence, speed, and understanding of grade-level math.
🏆 Challenge Details:
⭐ Weekly Goal: Complete 3 or more lessons per week
🎯 Overall Goal: Complete 9 or more lessons total by November 21st
🎁 Incentives: Students who meet their goals will earn prizes and special recognition!
💻 How to Access Zearn at Home:
1️⃣ Go to ClassLink
2️⃣ Turn on your device camera and scan your Zearn QuickCard QR code
3️⃣ Log in and start learning!
🕒 Recommended Practice:
Spend about 30 minutes each day completing Zearn lessons as part of daily math homework.
Let’s work together to help every NJH student reach for the stars in math! 🌟

🏀 NJH vs. NSU LAB – GAME RECAP! 🏀
Our Indians brought the HEAT last night! From start to finish, the gym was rocking as our players battled hard, locked in on defense, and delivered highlight-reel moments that had the crowd on their feet. Every possession showed heart, hustle, and pride — and these three players stood out with unforgettable performances! 🔥
🔥 PLAYER OF THE GAME – Harmoni Morrow
Harmoni was unstoppable — leading the team with 14 points and setting the tone early with relentless defense. She forced turnovers, shut down key opponents, and came up clutch when it mattered most. Her all-around dominance made her the heartbeat of the game! 💪
🔥 PLAYER OF THE GAME – Henry McSheppard
Henry turned in a dominant performance, dropping 18 points and making huge plays on both ends of the floor. His lightning-quick steals and fast-break finishes gave the Indians major momentum. From start to finish, Henry was a force to be reckoned with! ⚡
🔥 PLAYER OF THE GAME – Kobe Williams
Kobe proved that heart beats height every time. Leading with unmatched hustle and energy, he pressured the ball, dove for every loose play, and completely disrupted the NSU Lab offense. Small but mighty, Kobe’s determination set the tone for his entire team! 🔥
Proud of our athletes for leaving it all on the court — the future is bright for this squad! 💯
