We have kicked off our week with a visit from the PBIS Cart. Assistant Principal, Chase Stepp visits each grade level so students can turn in their hard-earned Legacy Bucks for a prize for their positive behavior. Students even have an opportunity to cash in their bucks for a chance to receive a free hair cut or hairstyle by community stylists. We love to see it! Let’s go NJH!

Congratulations to our football team for winning both games during Thursday’s Jamboree! NJH won 8-0 versus Provencal and 14-0 versus the Warriors.

Art at NJH!
NJH students have enjoyed playing a game involving rolling dice and drawing this week. In the process they have learned to draw monsters, cartoon faces, and landscapes. Students have begun to discover the importance of line, shape, color, texture, shading, and space in art. “I have seen amazing progress in these students drawings already!”, exclaims Mr. Alford. Looking forward to amazing things in the future.

Welcome to the first week of school at Natchitoches Junior High School! Our week was jam packed with Building A Lasting Legacy. We had a ball at NJH meeting and building with our staff and students.

Do you have school spirit? The time is near to try out for our NJH Cheerleading Team! Clinics will be held tomorrow August 8th and 9th 2022 from 3pm - 5pm.
Tryouts will be held on August the 10th from 3:00 p.m - 5:00 pm. The new team will be announced on Thursday, August 11th. Good Luck to everyone. Hope to see you there.
